  Hi from Meridian, Idaho!

  Hello all! Just completed the Basic ART training in Boise this past weekend. *Shoutout to my Boise April 2023 Cohort!*

  I am a teen/young adult neurodivergent and queer community focused therapist. My name is Emily Mortensen and I am a private practice clinician New Trails Therapy. I am also an ADHD-er, a parent to two littles, a runner, and I’m currently learning about how to incorporate gaming (animal crossing, roblox, minecraft, etc) into my sessions! Looking forward to incorporating ART modality into my work as I am primarily a Gestalt therapist and love the idea of using the visualization, imagery, and creativity in the process.
