11:24 – Client had a recent medical trauma and during the scene match, client said there were several repressed memories coming up. The therapist wanted direction on how to proceed.

18:00 – Amy had a client that likes to be honest at all times and when she got to the “Director Scene” the client said, “isn’t that lying?” Amy discussed how she responds to this question.

22:17 – A client expressed that she is afraid to heal from a trauma during college when she was raped. She fears if she gets over the trauma, she won’t be able to keep herself safe.

30:33 – ART with a client that doesn’t want to let go of control and is resistant to change. She also doesn’t want to let go of the negative sensations in her back. With EM’s have the client’s “Future Self” show her what life is like now that they resolved this control problem.

34:30 – How to work with a client’s “Protector Part” through metaphors.

39:24 – OCPD and ART. Outprocess undesirable behavior with desirable behavior. Do the Typical Day Script so she can see how other people will feel when she isn’t acting so controlling.

45:30 – ART with a 20 year old who had anorexia since she was 14. She’s been in and out of treatment and client said “I don’t plan on recovering.” Eating disorders need a team and to do ART the client must be motivated to change.

1:00:04 – ART with a client who could not identify body sensations.

1:04:10 – What to do when client skips overseeing the scene a second time (what looks or feels different) and goes directly to the Director Scene.

1:05:41 – Client who is anxious about coming in and doing ART.
