I have over 30 years of experience as a therapist with graduate degrees from Columbia University and The New School for Social Research. I have completed intensive training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and offer both individual and skills group classes in DBT. I also use solution-focused therapy, behavior activation, cognitive behavior therapy, and trauma therapy using accelerated resolution therapy and prolonged exposure therapy. I believe the clients I serve are whole individuals, and approach my work with each of them as an active and collaborative partnership. My client list includes individuals and their partners and families, when needed, and groups. My passion is to improve the lives of my clients, offer them new insights, enable them to see things from different perspectives, empower them to make new choices, and create a life they feel is worth living.
